Can my feet PoP?
May 23, 2007
So as you may know, I am on restricted hours at work due to severe edema. Thank goodness! The swelling in my feet is really what bothers me. Over the last few days it hasn’t gone down to “normal” in the morning(if I could only remember what my “normal” feet used to look like). I am convinced that at the end of the day they will pop. They look like someone has inflated them. I already had to forget about wearing any shoes other than flip flops, and have gone from a size 7 to a 9! I have named them my Shrek Feet. Just too bad it’s not Halloween- I could paint them green! I am trying to enjoy this humerous side effect of pregnancy. I know my circus side show feet will leave me soon enough. It is funny pushing on them to see how many indents I can leave or what shape indents I can make. I just wish when they got swollen I was still able to bend them and wish they didn’t go numb. Well here is to another day of trying to do everything with my feet elevated!

You poor thing. I didn’t know you where going through so much with your pregnancy.
The bright side is that you don’t have to work that much and you can catch up on some serious tv watching.
talk to you soon.

Very cute… I will check it everyday. I put a link on my website so more random people can be nosey and see what you are up to. About your feet… I feel so bad for you, just remember that it is all worth it in the end when you get to hold your creation in your arms!!!

Your feet look just like my friend’s, um, inflatable doll.
Hopefully we’ll see next weekend. Sheesh, you only live 10-minutes away.

OMG!! I have never in my life seen feet so swollen. Honestly, the last stretch stucks, but like everyone else says…it is worth it. I will check here all the time to see what’s up with the baby and best of luck!!

I’m 99.9999999% sure that your feet will not pop. Your poor little pigs. Tell Nick the Doctor is ordering unlimited leg and foot massages.
I hope you had a blast opening up all the baby gifts, so sorry I wasn’t able to stay for all the oohs & ahhs!
The doctor brain in me is suggesting you drink dandelion root tea – it helps your liver, one of your major detox organs and red raspberry leaf tea is always good during and after pregnancy.
Call me if you want any company on a tues or thursday.
