First Boo Boo

Today Brooklynn was playing on her back and pulled one of her bigger hard plastic toys to her face and….. BANG!  She knocked her head! It sounded bad so I went to pick her up thinking maybe it wasn’t that bad and then came the open mouth silent cry followed by the scream and tears.  I almost started to cry.  She cried for a good minute and then wanted to be put down to go play again.  Yes – it fazed me more than her.  Then her eyebrow got red and a tiny bump started to form.  I know, I know this is only the start of Boo- Boo’s and Owies to come.
